What does it say for the national respect and understanding of the MeToo movement when 11 women (so far) said Governor Cuomo
inappropriately touched or groped them? Will Cuomo’s staff accused of aiding and abetting such behavior by covering up, discrediting, or destroying the careers of these courageous women be held accountable too?

I agree it is a bit far from the labs but does say something about the political environment we are living in. I find it odd that just a year ago Coumo was being celebrated by every MSM source, given an emmy and stated as the true leader of the US not Trump. NYC was touted as the ideal of how to deal with the pandemic. The stories about about people with Covid being put into nursing homes and even improper interactions with female staff where called fake news by the MSM. I guess too many people came forward for this to be buried. I still do no understand how people can watch CNN, read Huffington post or the NYT and believe this is actual news. They simply have no journalistic standards at all. These same people slam Fox as fake news yet seem to have no problem with their news sources.
To bring this back to the labs, anyone who is familiar with the labs and has seen news stories about them over the last 25 years can attest to how often they are completely wrong. The NYT had to add corrections to some of their stories about LANL back 2000, but those corrections are forgotten. You have to ask yourself this, if the MSM often gets the facts wrong about the LLNL/LANL how often do you think they get things wrong about everything else. I have been a news junkie for some time, I remember the old NYT, the old guard on the TV networks, and so on. Todays "news" is more like propaganda than news. In the old days if someone said there was a story in the NYT, or Time magazine, you could have reasonable confidence the reporter was attempting to tell the truth or that there was some standard of truth. Today if someone says "they read in the NYT" you simply cannot take seriously or trust it. You have no idea what you are getting.
Why so sensitive to this subject? “Pruning” people is precisely why predators like Cuomo get away with this sh_t for so long. Are you a supporter or defender of acts of sexual abuse? Please think your thoughts through before you comment.
