I'm sorry you did not see the humor in it. You remind me of the Mac guy on the Mac/PC commercial TV ads. Pretentious, better than anybody else, too cool. Now this is your chance to correct my grammar and speeling too.
Ed - It was not my intent to be critical of the technique. I thought its "crudeness" matched the method of how the transition has unfolded. I guess my attempt at a humorous juxtaposition fell flat.
