Postings do not actually equate with hiring. I know of several jobs that have been posted for months, but there is no funding - or its been cut. Given how difficult its is to get an external posting through HR and approved by 111, its just easier to let the posting hang out there in cyberspace.
Maybe llns will hire all the weapons techs and engineers they are going to layoff in october
