Goldstein is just confirming that we are his "whipping boys".

Whips? I don't understand.

Are you talking about kinky sex?

This all came up because Goldstein showed up at a Lab function (unsure which one) wearing a studded leather jacket and was carrying of all things a whip. He dressed like the guy from Village People. Instead of singing YMCA he was singing LLNS, at the LLNS.

Forget Goldstein, are there any women on site with whips?

No, but I understand Hazel O'Leary during her reign as Secretary of Energy, wore leather and used whips in the Forrestal Building.

I worked in Washington while O'Leary was Secretary of Energy. She had a menu, a waiter, white table cloth, candles, fine china, and silverware for lunch. And this was in the DOE Forrestal Building!

O'Leary was some sorry piece of work. She should be doing time.

Hazel doing time? Are you crazy?

In the new DOE world, people like O'Leary are rehired to continue where they left off. Just look at Tyler.
