Hopefully they send in Big Balls to trim the fat. They could cut 50% of the dead weight and see a 2x improvement in output. Most people at the labs exist only to stand in the way.
8:31 spot on. The DOE embodies everything that is wrong with classic bureaucracy. I sincerely hope the place gets gutted.
