Has anyone heard from their congressman?

Anonymous is asking:

Has anyone heard from his/her Congressman? I sent both a letter and email to Tauscher and haven't even had a form letter or automatic email response.

They don't care so why should we? The LLNL LANL original mission is finished and it will not return, until after we are attached equal to a Pearl Harbor.

You are never going to here from anyone. Why? LLNL isn't that big a deal. Everyone that works at LLNL has been told year after year how great and fabulous they are. It is a bunch of bologna. People at LLNL think the whole world revolves around them. How pathetic. I have suggested the top post on this blog be removed. May be it will be now.

And when that attack occurs, we lose big-time. And the other side will not give us the luxury of restarting the labs. It'll be over in just a few hours or days.

The fall of almost every great power started with the weakening of defenses for cost savings.

I've sent two email on LLNL issues to Congresswoman Tauscher in the past year and received both emails and specific letters back. I don't live in her district but used my LLNL mailing address/zip code to access her website and her letters reached me at the Lab. I've also spoken to one her aids in the DC office, and he called me back at home. Call the DC office (from your home, not the Lab), ask to speak to the aid that covers LLNL issues - you'll probably get his voice mail, but leave a message and phone number, he'll get back to you.
