Retired Lab Directors are being pushed by some groups, with Anastasio, Albright and Hruby among those suggested.

Given Trump's track record so far, it will be military.

No one has ever been nominated and confirmed to the position other than retired military, so why change a good thing now?
Admiral Nanos would fill the role. - 4/25/2017 7:51 AM

HA HA HA after what LLNS did to Parney? or was he just a willing tool to begin with....Hmmmmmm......Parney was the only "outsider" who may have been fit to run LLNL, then he found out they brought him in and gave him his first assignment to get rid of Ed Moses who was the last road block in what is now the total sell out and corruption of the NIF project, which LLNS/Bechtel uses as its cash cow to milk millions out of DOE/NNSA and ultimately the taxpayers...Even decent qualified people like Parney eventually get chewed up and spit out by the Military-Industrial Complex. Bechtel is the dark knight of this set-up. DiFi is the wizard of oz behind the entire con job. Chew on that Bechtel trolls.....HA HA HA HA!!!!!
