ORNL researcher indicted
ORNL researcher and UT faculty member Anming Hu indicted by the feds today. Looks like it could be another Thousand Talents case.
I think a lot of the Chinese don’t really understand what they’re doing. In some recent cases involving Taiwanese, they didn’t even understand if they were giving info to Taiwan or China. There is some sort of way the intelligence agencies of China are about to recruit people without them knowing what they are doing or why. It’s scary how easily Chinese in this country can be recruited.
