No clearance, no problem

At the white house,  several uncleared people handle classified info daily. Why haven't they been cleared?
If any lab employee is found to have even  had a bad credit score,  they cannot get a Q clearance .
Ironic isn't?
The white house image has been so degraded and so has democracy and justice.

It’s untrue that a bad credit score is grounds for denial of a Q clearance. What else is untrue in this post?

The original poster has made a claim he can't back up. There is no evidence that uncleared people in the White House are handling classified materials. Rob Porter was awaiting his clearance but that doesn't mean he was handling classified materials. The OP just made that up.

Why does this fake comment rise to a top-level post?

It turns out that Porter was granted an interim clearance that allowed him to handle classified.

Just another misleading story from agenda-driven "journalists" in the main stream media.

The Trump White House is a complete mess and embarrassment. I was at Forrestal last month and it is in total disarray - which is saying a lot - btw, I spent two years there on detail to NNSA in the mid-2000s, so I definitely have something to compare it to.

To grant so many interim clearances and for such an abnormally long time is cause for concern. Furthermore, staff like Kushner read the highly classified Presidents Daily Brief (I guess somebody on the staff needs to though since the President does not bother). Much of what goes on in this administration should be cause for concern, and discussing it is fair game. Shame on you for trying to peddle the fake news line of dismissal.

We are held to a higher standard at the Labs for first obtaining and then retaining our clearances. The original poster was simply making the point that the White House staff seem exempt what we undergo.

Forrestal has nothing to do with Trump, except through the highest level political appointees who don't interact with the little people who do all the work. The disarray has a lot more to do with organizational changes and retirements, than with who is sitting in the White House.

Sorry 8:31 AM but your story lacks credibility. I've been to Forrestal an uncountable number of times (>100) over 3 decades most often interacting at the Deputy Administrator level. Anyone who has spent any time there knows DOE has ALWAYS been in disarray.

The only time, including now, that the disarray was markedly worse than typical was during Hazel O'Leary's tenure.

How can we accept Kushner and people without a clearance handling classified info? Why don't they have a clearance is the better question to ask . This may be OK in RussiaRussia but not OK in the US !

OK .Domestic violence .Bad financial situation etc. .

Does kushner have a ckerance. There are many other uncleared. Check the news!

In the pre trump era, journalists we're in the business of delivering information .Now, they have to defend themselves from trump while doing that same job . Exceptions are fox news, infowars. ..
trump knows he cannot intimidate NBC news,CNN ...

In the pre-Trump era, journalists were peddling the exact same skewed leftist ideological garbage and calling it "delivering information", they just were not being called for their biases at the Presidential level. Obama even nutured it, because it suited his progressive liberal agenda. Under Trump, nothing changed except the national focus on their lies and hypocrisy.

Time to remove the ideological blinders. GOP tax reform borrows 1.5T to be able to slash taxes for trump businesses by at least 200M in 2018 and each year after that . Do you like the crumbs thrown at you until 2025?

Yes, I like keeping more of my income. The next thing that needs to happen is for the Federal budget to be cut back to a reasonable level.

Your call to "remove the ideological blinders" is incredibly ironic. What about yours? If you truly believe the Republican tax reform was done solely for Trump's benefit, not only don't you know anything about the actual provisions of the law, but you obviously don't care about the facts of it. Try to educate yourself. Hint: MSNBC won't do it.

Every time Trump tweets against the press it is an attack on freedom of the press. How is it that he can just throw out the Constitution like that, how is it even legal. This getting crazy.
