We have a wonderful interview with former Secretary of State George P. Shultz in which he discusses two missions: reducing nuclear weapons and reducing carbon emissions. It's a free article on the subscription side of the Journal. I hope you enjoy it!

FYI, George Shultz was a former VP for Bechtel. They tend to hire former politicians as executives to gain access to the Congressional portals of power.

George never held elective office, so not quite sure to lump him as a politician. I believe both he and Cap Weinberger worked for Bechtel before joining the Reagan administration.
