Congress should be looking into why NNSA changed Y 12 contractors and awarded LANL an extension. They both were graded to be performing below the desired level. The local office had denied a contract extension by the top career federal civil service employee according to the news article in the Los Alamos paper. So then why did the political appointee Neile Miller insert herself and turn over the local LANL site office?

Oh, goody! More wasted reams of report paper to burn next winter to keep warm!

Can anyone offer any reason for Miller's decision to overturn the local site office decision and give a contract extension to LANL? While at it, can anyone offer any qualification at all for Miller to even be in a job to make such a decision?
