Who is Willard Robert Logan?

Who is Willard Robert Logan? What is his expertise that is so valuable to a new management team?

Our new director?

Most likely a nom de plume in the open record as a cover for the true person. IF Texas wins the bid, one very strong story out of DC is that the next DIR will be from Texas, but was a senior LANL person in recent years.

Bill Press? Run......run.

Yep. retired Admiral Bill McRaven is the real name. Navy seal special ops command leader. killed bin laden.

With Admiral Bill McRaven announcing his retirement as head of UT, it might make sense that he would then move into the Director positions at LANL if they win the contract. Having an admiral listed in the confidential UT bid might also give UT an advantage in securing the management contract.

IF it is Bill Press, would that make him the oldest DIR in LANL history?

I doubt it is Bill McRaven as I thought he was stepping down for health reasons.

Hope its not Carl Beard.

Anastasio was not LANL, he was Bechtel.

IF it is another Navy Admiral, could be Ike Richardson?

Anastasio was UC. He wouldn't know Bechtel if it bit him.

Anastasio was LLNL Weapons Program Director (i.e., UC) before being named LANL Director by LANS. If true history gets lost, true future will be very hard to predict.

But Anastasio may have actually been bit by Bechtel and like the walking dead he turned into Bechteillen. In fact all the UC people in some way where bit by Bechtel, that is how they took over. Why do you think LANS had the bonus system, they knew this method worked in Africa, Asia and and South America, you always buy off the locals. Bechtel made a lot of money off LANL, perhaps much more than we know. They may have also placed certain operatives in the right places to make sure they keep the contract. Bechtel knows how to make money.

You all don’t know anything. First it was UC/Battelle, then Northrop, UT/Boeing, and now Bechtel. We’ve done full circle. Who’s next BWXT and...?

Anastasia was the LLNL Director before coming to LANL. The only person to hold director position at both Labs.

Have you met Anastasio? He has no sense of money (clothes, car, etc.)....

Livermore people know him. He was Penrose's "senior advisor" starting in 2013. For such a capable and highly compensated executive, he's really a ghost on the internet. Maybe he's a "fixer" of some kind.

Really old guy. Protege of Johnny Foster. Worked with Don Kerr and Zig Hecker.

Perhaps he is sort of the Michael Cohen of the NNSA. Buys and sells influence, fixes things, knows people who know people., will hook you up with what you need...ect. He probably works for Bechtel on the side as well along with whoever, you got the cash than he won't ask. He is a thriving fungus on NNSA/DOE swamp. There is money to made off this system and life will find a way.

Bechtel! Bechtel! Bechtel!

Bechtel has the plan to make LANL grand.
Bend over, LANL, and take it like a man.
"Cowboy time" is over so start pounding sand.
Congressional checks a'coming, campaign funds defend.

Bechtel! Bechtel! Bechtel!
The 'Deep State' wins again.

Bechtel needs to go back to failed large construction projects. Their only talent.

Can people get over this Nanos “cowboy” comment?
