Have they fired Casey Peterson yet? This stuff is getting crazy.
I did have another question. I recently watched a video of a Vic principle at a school, go on video and say "F the police", ACAB! The school is not very happy with him.
My question is can we do something like this? I want to go on to protest and yell " F the police, no cops no prison we need total abolition" ect. If I am caught on video can Sandia do anything or is this free speech?
The other thing is that NW in many ways allows the US to be the world police, in many ways we need to defund NW - 9/08/2020 10:18 PM

What on earth is going on at Sandia? I found some of the stuff like the 103 things for racial justice. There is pretty crazy stuff on that list not mention just out and out open racism. From the podcast there was also some sense that Sandia was pushing a police are a problem theme. - 9/08/2020 11:10 PM

The podcast was very good.
I have been watching some documentaries or shows on Scientology and cults this last 6 months What is so disturbing is that many of the things in the current PC culture, the push for unconscious bias, the us versus them , cancel culture, have all the parallels I see with cults or religion in general.
(1) We have unconscious bias that you are not aware of but controls you life, only the "woke" can see it. By taking certain trainings you can overcome this.
This is very similar to the "reactive mind" or thetan theory of Scientology that you are being controlled by invisible identities that you are not aware of but the PC can see. Pay to take our training and we can fix this.
(2) Only certain people can be biased or racist. All of one group is racist or biased by definition
This is like the concept or original sin, or the chosen people.
(3) Listen to certain people and believe them. If they say something is true it is true. Certain communities say police are bad, they
need to be believed. Listen and believe women, listen to lived experiences so on.
This is common in religions and cults, you must only listen only, never question. If you questions you are severely punished.
(4) Do not associated with biased people, silence is violence, you cannot be un-racists you have to b anti-racists. Tolerance is acceptant.
This is very common in cults, that you need to get rid anyone or fight anyone in your life that is not a believer or follower. In Scientology it is called "disconnecting". Scientology also goes after anyone you threatens them with lawsuits, harassment, and so on. In the PC culture this means defending anyone, not talking to family or the strong "cancel culture".
(5) Only certain sources of information can trusted or approved by the group.
The PC culture has many prohibitions on informations sources can be used, where only certain news sources or people can trusted. Fox news is bad, NPR is good, Ben Shapiro is evil, Don Lemon can be trusted, Tucker Carlson is the Devil, Rachel Madow can be trusted.
(6) Do not engage with the enemy, do not listen to them for their words alone will corrupt you.
This is the ideal that you simply cannot have any kind of discussion or dialogue the ideals of the woke left. They simply will not engage or say it worth their time. The very act of questionings biases or racism is PROOF of bias and racism.

You have free speech when it comes to the federal or state government laws under the Constitution. Not so with your university, school, or employer, who can make speech limitation rules a condition of enrollment or employment. The law is very clear. - 9/09/2020 5:20 PM

9:09. Very insightful. You will be punished for your superior critical thinking skills. Original thoughts are simply not allowed within the DOE.

I completely agree but this a violation the "sprite" or the 1st amendment. Sure anything can be justified on legal grounds but it is pretty clear what the founders wanted. Of course the founders are rather "problematic" as they say. - 9/09/2020 10:29 PM

The founders did not intend to limit the rights of private entities, only the rights of governments. Read the Federalist Papers.

Casey has another great video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npzt-Tx66j8
He points are several things like that the LDRD system in Sandia seems to be corrupt where they are now choosing grants based on
gender. I am not sure if this is also happing at LANL and LLNL.
I liked his idea that if you could have one training that CRT and unconscious bias than why not have another class debunking these ideas. His idea is that if you had something like this that CRT would vanish from the labs very rapidly.
I don't know if this is having an effect but there as a seminar that was going to occur on unconscious bias at LANL, and certain managers where saying that you should watch it because "unconscious bias" is real. That seminar was cancelled. I think some people may have complained.
I have no problem with managers saying look here is a seminar check it out if you like but when they say they know "unconscious bias is real than I have problem because I have never seen any compelling data for this. The studies that exist have all sorts of problems. The biggest problem I keep finding is that these studies have no way to distinguish explicit bias from unconscious bias, there are all sorts of methodology problems with these studies as well. Right now in the social sciences there is something called the reproducibility crisis where they are finding that amounts of these studies simply cannot be reproduced or that they are not doing the statistics right. It is bit harsh but many in the hard sciences simply do not take the much of the work done by social scientists as serious. I am more open minded but when I read some these studies. (they are very very easy to read by the way). I generally find all sorts of problems and issues.

One issue people like Casey need to consider is that this could go very badly for them if Trump loses. Sure Trump may have ordered CRT out on the Federal level, but once he is out, this stuff will not only come back but could be much worse. Whole purges could start, monitoring, snitching on people, as well as secret trials to judge you. Maybe they will find out you watched one of Caseys videos and you will be punished. Remember once Trump is out they will go full on crazy.

If you look at the history of "revolutions" it can get pretty ugly. When the Red Russians won against the White Russians they had purge. That was only the first purge they than started to do additional purges as well known as purity spirals. Sure guys like Casey and many others get purged on the first round but than all you virtue signal people get purged on the next round. If Trump loses things could get completely out of hand as a lot of people are going to want revenge for Trump years and want to make sure something like that never happens again. Of course if Trump wins things could still get crazy. Could some dark times ahead. - 9/11/2020 10:41 AM

There are dark times ahead no matter who wins. A majority think neither candidate has the mental capacity to be president. And they're right.
