This isn't new to the lab's to outsource. But it sure looks like they are expanding it. I guess I'll never come back

LLNL, you're next. Any job that can be outsourced will be outsourced. Do I hear another lie from LLNS coming down the pipeline?
I worked at LANL from '94-'98. I think that the services I saw listed there have been contracted out since back when I worked there. Software support, electronics parts, custodial services... these have been the JCI's of the past.
Not much news here with these contracted support services. The real story will come when most of the professional and technical positions at LANL and LLNL get outsourced in a bid to further reduce both salaries and benefits.
Think it can't happen? Just watch.
