What is the current lab head count? (How much) has it dropped since the layoff (through
normal attrition and terminations)

Go to a Lab pricer to see how many people works at the lab. If you have the lab pricer from previous years, then you can find out.
All that info is on the HR website.
These last two responses are worthless to those of us who left the lab already. Instead of telling people how to figure it out, please just post the answers.
