What living beyond your means has brought us ?

Ever wonder why we never have enough money here in the good old USA to put towards alternative energy and cancer research. Check out the money out government spends kissing butt with politicians around the world and ask yourself this. Why is it legal for them to use the tax payer money for such BS when the butt-sniffs they are paying off are already worth billions if not trillions of dollars. Black Money
You all need to sit back and watch this documentary then visit PBS Frontline more often and see what CNN, ABC, CBS and CNN never wanted you to know or even cared to take the time to air. Then if you really want to see your future, your children's future and their children's future sit back and watch your taxes go to 70% and we'll still not have enough to pay off the national debt. It so bad if every man, women and child wrote a check to Uncle Sam for $35K , today, we'd still couldn't undo what Obama is doing.

Welcome to Obama's world Ten Trillion and Counting

Obama?? He's no more in control than any of the last 15 presidents! This debt will never be repaid nor was it ever intended to be. What we are privileged to be watching is the final looting of the US and we have no one to blame but ourselves. Large financial interests are having resources (likely the last significant amounts ever available from US taxpayers) transferred to them. These will be used to purchase swaths of remaining tangible assets before we serfs are subjected to the tax and inflationary shitstorm headed our way. The tangible assets that can be turned for quick profit will be expatriated and sold to the new manufacturing centers located in China and Southeast Asia (In case no one has noticed this has been happening for some 25 years). Tangible assets that can't be moved will be milked until completely dry and abandoned. The attempt will be made to get the taxpayers to buy these back at inflated prices or pay for decommissioning and remediation.

Congratulations for trusting the partnership of banking and government....and enjoy your penury!

I love PBS Frontline. It's one of the last remaining outfits doing true investigative journalism. The Jon Stewart show is another good source for finding out what's really going on (and having a good laugh!).

The rest of the worthless cable news media is feeding up large doses of Soma to the public or generating manufactured outrage over trivial issues.

What Obama is doing? Where have you been? This is the disaster he inherited from the last buffoon. And by the way, the bulk of the money spent so far was spent during the Bush administration not the Obama administration (and with no accountability). Had Bush kept his eye on the ball we wouldn't be in as bad a mess as we are. You need a history lesson.

I can see the blog master took the link out of the orignal comment. So here are the facts once more. Go to PBS Frontline and watch _Black Money_ completely.

I didn't mean to take out the link - they don't always transfer the way they should and I forget to go back and fix them. Sorry 'bout that.

Thanks for posting the URL to black money. That was very informative as were Ten Trillion and Counting and Sick in America. PBS Frontline seems to be the only source where you'll get the truth instead of people twisting the facts to fit their agenda while simultaneously blowing smoke up your butt.

> "What living beyond your means has brought us?"

Probably more appropriate to use their means. Given that one of the first things probed during security checks is financial solvency, Lab folks are probably on whole significantly less leveraged than the average.

What I find amazing is living beyond ones means is what got us in the financial mess we're in. No the government is doing the very same thing. They're are totally ignoring the fact that _one can not borrow themselves out of debt_. What's more amazing is we have stupid people who back what's going on not realizing its going to make things worse at a later date. After reading all three PBS special I'm convinced America is doomed via the implementation of Socialism where the mass majority suck off a t-it provided by taxation without representation of the 40% that are working. We're screwed and the people that voted in this administartion are the ones to blame, period. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/tentrillion/

Wrong answer tutsidoodgle. GWB didn't have a damn thing to do with the collapse of the economy. It was the people who over extended themselves and wanted everyone to have a home if it had to be a NINJA loan, that no income, no job or assets. Again it was the bleeding heart liberals who think the government owes me because I'sss was hatched on US soil and keep the floodgate wide open to feed the world on our tax dollars. yes the same buffoon that voted Obama into office and now you will pay the price with Socialism and a 70% tax rate well on its way. Congratulations democrats, you've finally brough America to it knees and established a one world order / global economy.
