My bets on this. You'll hear, "There will be no lay-offs as the rumor says, however with a new administration and not knowing where their priorities lie; I'll have no control if the budget changes and will have to take action". Then why am I hearing that1000 people are to be released very soon and another 1000 come midsummer. Maybe LLNL isn't favored so highly with the Obamanation.

This bring to me another observation. Knowing that Moses does not like people playing at lunch time, ever wonder why they took out the volley ball court but left the basket ball court. Could it be the Obamanator is coming to LLNL in May, where Obama, Miller and Moses are going to shoot a few hoops as Magic Johnson referees. After all basketball is the Obamanators favorite sport. Politics is a wonder full thing, isn't it and LLNL / LLNS CEO's know how to play the game well. It's the only way they've gotten to where they are today. IMHO this LLNS administrator has reached the height of their careers, so much that the sucking sound has subsided; however he ion gage attached to their sphincter now reads 1 X 10-6 s/cc and going down. It's really sad what one has to do to make it to the top.

More good people announced resignations last week.

There will be no lay-offs on my birthday April 2nd, said GM, and Obama is NOT coming to LLNL in May of 2009 and if he is I don't kow about it. I wonder why the contractor who was asked this question said just the opposite. Maybe they're lying to the contractor too so the project gets done on time? Are you all happy now?

Now, we are no longer "family" to GM.
He laid off his family last July.
What is left are his friends.
He cares about the safety of his friends! He does not have to worry about the safety of his familiy anymore.
