It's not clear number of peer-reviewed publications correlates with ability to be effective as Director for S&T.

Can she move product, bring in the money, be a rainmaker, play long ball, make gut decisions on the fly, impress the big the fat cats in Washington. If she can do that she is the real deal and can own it.
