Ray Washburne is top candidate for energy secretary??

What?!?!? OMG! Really hope this is a case of fake news. This guy has zero qualifications to run DOE. Zero technical, scientific, engineering... let alone nuclear weapons or military background. Hell, even worthless Hazel O'Leary came out of the energy utility sector.

Ray Washburne is top candidate for energy secretary
CBS News
December 7, 2016

Ray Washburne, a member of President-elect Donald Trump’s finance team and former finance director for Chris Christie, is a top candidate for Mr. Trump’s energy secretary.

Washburne was vice chairman of the Trump Victory Committee during the general election and was a former finance chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC). He lives in Dallas and runs an investment company and owns a chain of Mexican restaurants.

Washburne, significantly, is the only member of Christie’s team that moved into the Trump campaign or transition to have survived the purge. Everyone else has been moved out.

Washburne was an early and eager fundraiser for Mr. Trump after Christie endorsed Trump and offered assistance to Steve Mnuchin, now the treasury secretary nominee, when he began work as Mr. Trump’s finance chairman. Washburne has close relationships with other big Trump fund-raisers, including Woody Johnson and Tom Barrack. ‎

Washburne and Trump have met frequently and Trump offered praise for Washburne this morning at his New York fund raiser - both back stage to top donors and during his remarks.

No final decision has been made on Washburne but three sources directly involved in transition deliberations said Washburne is under serious consideration and could be named in the coming days.

What are you complaining about? That the mango Mussolini has no clue on how to run this country because reading and retaining info is too much to ask from a meth head and thus is resorting to picking boot lickers for top cabinet positions? Repeat after me obstruct and impeach, obstruct and impeach, obstruct and impeach,......aka Rethuglican handbook.

Bill's a bit too liberal. But he's OK for DOE. Could think of much worse choices.

____________

The Dimocrats CAN'T impeach because the Republicans hold both the House and the Senate. 1:31 apparently wasn't paying any attention to the election results at all; America voted the Demmys out of power nearly everywhere.

During the last two years under Obama, Republicans could have sustained an impeachment vote in the House but didn't try. Not once. They didn't have the votes to convict in a Senate trial but they could have impeached Obama in the House anyway. So 1:31's "impeach" mantra is clearly NOT in the "Rethuglican" handbook - 1:31 PM simply made that up. This is a typical liberal strategy, repeat a lie often enough and other clueless liberals will begin to believe it.

It seems that 1:31 PM might be the real meth-head here.

1:31 doesn't seem to understand that the Democrats can't impeach as America voted to keep the House and the Senate controlled by the Republicans. On the other hand, the Republicans could have impeached Obama in the House anytime during the last two years but didn't. Impeachment was NOT part of the "Rethuglican" handbook as 1:31 PM so falsely claims.

He is perfectly qualified to run DOE, which involves dismantling it and auctioning off the spare parts to the rest of government. The laid off lab and DOE employees will then be offered positions at his chain of Mexican restaurants to replace the illegals Trump will have deported.
